Acoustolectrik
This is the name I’ve given to my acoustic guitar fitted with a single coil pickup, designed and handwound by me. It’s a guitar that has a lovely bass tone acoustically, coupled with the versatility of an electromagnetic pickup. Plugged in, the pickup gives anything from lovely warm acoustic tone to whatever you can crank out of your amp! The lack of sound hole reduces the chance of wailing feedback as well.
There are two body styles to choose from (standard and small body), and two scale lengths. They are also available as pure acoustic guitars.
