Guitar 02-0521 is now an acoustolectrik, having just had a pickup installed. The top has two types of Mahogany, reclaimed from a narrowboat door, and an old piece of furniture, together with some Sycamore from the Stourhead National Trust estate, and some wonderfully figured and aged Douglas Fir, reclaimed from a 100 year old Norfolk sailing barge restoration. It has a single upper bout sound hole, and the neck meets the body at the sixteenth fret. I love the top on this guitar, and with its newly installed single coil pickup, it sounds pretty good too.
